Spoils shared in six-goal thriller

On a real topsy-turvy night in HP10, visitors Reading raced into a two-goal lead through Riley Denny (26 minutes) and Henry Paxford (30) – before Jamie Essex halved the deficit on the stroke of half-time.

There was still time for Reading to add a third goal ahead of the interval, though, with Ollie Harris netting in the second minute of added time following a swift counter attack.

Penn roared back in the second half. James Keeley followed up on the rebound to make it 3-2 in the 62nd minute.

And after the home side laid siege to the Reading goal, Kajtek Halatyn finally broke the visiting resistance once more as late as the 91st minute, finishing from close range.
