Ladies renamed Penn Women in structure update

PENN & Tylers Green Ladies FC will now officially be known as Penn & Tylers Green Women FC at a time of exciting change for the women and girls’ section of the football club.

We are delighted to confirm the appointments of Kevin Warner and Nicky Toulson as our new women’s first-team managers ahead of the upcoming 2026/27 season, as the club look to mirror the development pathway now in place for our men’s first team.

Warner and Toulson arrive following highly-successful stints in girls football at Harefield United, having both played at non-league level previously.

Everyone at PTGFC is proud of the achievements of our ladies team in recent years, who have finished their league campaign in second place for three successive seasons.

To build on that as we aim to fulfil our ambition of climbing both the men’s and women’s football pyramid in the coming years, the club believes recruiting and developing its own young players is essential.

PTGFC chairman Nigel Miller said: “We’re thrilled to announce the appointments of Kev and Nicky as the new women’s management team.

“With a proven track record of nurturing young talent and building successful teams, Kev and Nicky embody our commitment to youth development – a cornerstone of our strategy now at Penn. Over the past three years, we’ve seen incredible progress with our men’s first team, and now we’re ready to take our women’s team on a similar journey.

“Our vision is clear: to provide our junior girls with the coaching and development they need to seamlessly transition from junior to senior football. By continuing to strengthen our pathway teams, we aim to create opportunities for growth and success at every level.

“Kev and Nicky will play a pivotal role in this exciting new chapter, and we couldn’t be more pleased to have them leading the charge.

“Here’s to building a bright future for women’s football at Penn. We are committed to supporting young players on their journey from junior to senior football – allowing them to play at the highest possible level.”

Joint-managers Warner and Toulson added: “This is a really exciting, unique opportunity at a special community football club.

“There is huge potential to grow and we’re here to add our expertise and help the women’s section of the club get to where it wants to be – where it can be.

“It’s about building and hopefully all of the girls can take on our ideas going into next season – ideas that have served us well so far. Let’s see what happens.

“We’ll put together a squad of girls who want to go further. When you assemble a team that want to win, and have won, it becomes a habit.

“We’ve seen the success of the men’s first team and I think our women can be on a par, in terms of the level. Eventually, we want to reach at least Step 5 and think this project can go very far.”
