Ladies lose to champions Denham
PENN & Tylers Green Ladies were comfortably beaten by Denham United at French School Meadow on Thursday evening – the visitors claiming the championship title with their win.
Penn found themselves 4-1 down at half-time, with Tara Woodward’s goal sandwiched by strikes from Daisy Baranowski, Brogan Moore (two) and Annie Hewitt.
Further Denham goals from Kayleigh Currivan and Liana Horwood in the second half wrapped up a deserved win for the visitors.
Our ladies return to action at home against Oxford City’s development side on Sunday.
