Ladies hit Tilehurst for seven
PENN & Tylers Green Ladies showed no signs of letting their season fizzle out after thumping Tilehurst Panthers for seve

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
Penn & Tylers Green will play Step 5 football for the very first time after a 3-0 victory over Wembley confirmed us as Combined Counties League Division One champions.
Three first-half goals did the damage at French School Meadow.
Lennon Moore’s excellent, low drive put Penn ahead as early as the 15th minute.
And that lead was doubled just five minutes later when Aaron Jewell got the final touch to an Alfie Branwhite corner.
Jewell headed home his second goal – Penn’s third – on the stroke of half-time via Chris Ellis’ long throw.
Joint-manager James Pritchard said: “It feels very, very good.
“It’s been a gruelling season in which we’ve set high demands. To see everything come together today was just incredible.
“I’m hugely proud of the players for their efforts and contributions. To do it when there was so much riding on this game with that performance against a very good Wembley side – we’re just delighted.”
Fellow joint-manager Gio Sepede continued: “We’re very proud – that’s the word.
“It’s been a journey – we suffered play-off heartache last season, which was very, very tough.
“But we licked our wounds, so to speak, and recruited very, very well in the summer. The group has evolved and credit to the players.
“I’m proud of every single player – we’re 18 games unbeaten and deserve to win it. We are worthy champions, with 100 points, and can enjoy ourselves tonight.”
