About Hilltop
Hilltop Football Club was formed in 2005 as a club for the Somali diaspora in north-west London and is based in Stonebridge. The club entered organised competition in 2007 when it joined the Middlesex County League Division Three, and after a period away it rejoined the same competition in 2014. Progress came steadily thereafter: Hilltop won the Middlesex County League Division Two in 2017/18 and followed up with the Division One West title in 2018/19, a season in which the club also lifted the Middlesex County FA Junior Cup. These successes established Hilltop as one of the stronger sides emerging from the Middlesex grassroots scene in the late 2010s.
In 2021 Hilltop were admitted to the Combined Counties League Division One, marking their step into the wider National League system, and the club subsequently progressed to the Combined Counties League Premier Division North. The club has also made its mark in national cup football, reaching the fifth round of the FA Vase in 2023/24, its best run in the competition to date. Hilltop play their home fixtures at Silver Jubilee Park in Hendon, a ground with a capacity of around 3,500 that it shares with other local clubs.
