Rising Ballers beaten in HP10

PENN & Tylers Green provided the perfect response to defeat at Wembley last weekend, running out comfortable winners over Rising Ballers Kensington at French School Meadow.

Gio Sepede and James Pritchard’s hosts were 4-1 ahead at half-time, as Felix Prudden’s early double was added to by Freddie Pritchard and Kacper Zapieraczynski’s own goal.

Lennon Moore added Penn’s fifth and final goal in second-half stoppage time, with Rising Ballers finding the net through Sergio Carro and Casey Yusuff-Phillip.

Prudden gave Penn the lead with less than 60 seconds on the clock, sliding home a left-flank centre, then put the home side back in front on 16 minutes following Sergio Carro’s ninth-minute cross-shot that evaded a host of bodies in the box before finding its way in.

Penn powered on from there. Freddie Pritchard’s low 43rd-minute finish made it 3-1, before Mackenzie Gould’s free-kick on the stroke of half-time was fumbled into his own net by visiting goalkeeper Kacper Zapieraczynski.

The second half was less free-flowing, but that didn’t matter to Penn. Yusuff-Phillip added an impressive second for Rising Ballers just a minute after the break, but they could find no way back.

Moore’s free-kick effort in the first minute of stoppage time rounded off the scoring.

Both teams ended the game with 10 players after substitute Arthur Nkrumah and Warren Morgan were dismissed for an off-the-ball altercation.

After closing out 2025 in such positive fashion, Penn begin the new year at Chalfont St Peter on Saturday 3rd January.
