PENN & Tylers Green endured an afternoon to forget versus Wembley on Saturday – beaten 3-0 at Vale Farm.
Penn were made to pay for a disappointing first-half performance, falling three goals behind ahead of half-time.
Alfie Bates opened the scoring for Wembley in the sixth minute, before that lead was doubled just four minutes later through Richard Acheampong.
Acheampong then doubled his tally on 40 minutes – Wembley’s third and final goal.
Gio Sepede and James Pritchard’s visitors showed improvement after the break, but were ultimately made to pay for their first-half showing.
Penn will look to provide an instant response when welcoming Rising Ballers Kensington to French School Meadow next weekend.
