Intro
The Penn & Tylers Green FC men’s team proudly carries forward over a century of footballing tradition, playing in their iconic blue and white stripes at French School Meadow. With a rich history of league triumphs, including the Hellenic League Division One (East) titles in 2015/16 and 2016/17, and the Combined Counties Football League Division One Challenge Cup in 2022/23, the first team continue to compete at a high level while serving as a pathway for local talent and a source of pride for the community.

Having returned to co-manage the first team in February 2023, Gio has played a key role in guiding the side to League Cup victory and re-establishing the winning mentality that has long been part of the club’s DNA. His previous spell as manager, from 2011 to 2019, saw Penn secure two Hellenic League titles and develop a strong reputation for ambition and consistency. Drawing on his playing experience with Flackwell Heath and Marlow, Gio is committed to leading a team that plays with pride, purpose, and unity.
James Pritchard
Joint-Manager
Returning to the club in February 2023, James brought with him a wealth of experience from his playing days at Marlow, Maidenhead United, and Slough Town. Since rejoining, he has helped steer the side to League Cup success, continuing a legacy of achievement that includes back-to-back Hellenic League titles during his previous tenure in 2016 and 2017. James is driven by a clear vision: to build a hard-working, competitive team that reflects the spirit of the club, striving for continued progress both on and off the pitch.
Christian Williams
Assistant Manager
Joining the coaching team in the summer of 2025, Christian brings energy, knowledge, and a strong footballing background. As a player, he represented Flackwell Heath, Maidenhead United, and Banbury United, and was part of the management team behind Flackwell Heath’s successful Allied Counties side. Now at Penn, Christian is focused on developing players, strengthening team cohesion, and supporting a culture built on hard work and ambition as the club continues to push for success.
