Allied Counties

Welcome to the Penn & Tylers Green Allied Counties section, our U16-18 squad competing in the Allied Counties Youth Football League, an elite regional competition that provides a genuine platform for ambitious young players. With our club’s blue and white stripes on the line, this team represents the next step in the pathway from junior football into seniors.

About the team

The Allied Counties Youth Football League is recognised as a top-level youth competition across the Thames Valley and surrounding counties (16 to 18-year-olds) – involving semi-professional clubs and providing a high standard of football and development.

For our PTGFC Allied team, this means:

  • Playing weekly in a competitive environment that mirrors senior club standards, helping young players prepare for adult football.
  • Exposure to disciplined match routines, tactical systems and physical demands akin to non-league senior football.
  • A clear pathway into our men’s team – players who excel here are well-placed to progress into first-team football in blue and white.
  • A focus not only on winning, but on development: technical skills, game intelligence, resilience, and character are all emphasised.

By enrolling in this level of youth football we give our older youth players the chance to test themselves, to grow, and to step confidently towards senior football – doing it all while representing Penn & Tylers Green FC proudly.
